1969
This great small block V-8 would continue to be produced in the US up to 2002, and is produced to this day in Mexico. The funny thing is this is one engine size you will find cut across manufacturers lines being available in GM and Ford model vehicles. The K-5 blazer and the GMC Jimmy also made their first appearances this year.

1970

From 69 to 70 very little changed in the appearance of these vehicles. There is one small change that differentiates between the two and it is in the grille.

1971

In 71, you will see a number of changes though they are still not in the body style. Instead, Chevy opted to increase trim options. Chrome trim and extra padding were added depending on options chosen. If you wanted a FM radio in the truck, 1971 was the first year Chevy offered this option.

1972
